Summary

Roy Mustang was not a man to give up without a fight, a fact which has always spread to his ambitions of power and leadership. He is focused on his goals, and four years post The Promised Day is still climbing the ranks with Hawkeye by his side.
Then a mission goes wrong and Roy is left with decisions to make as to how he will deal with an unexpected challenge that he knows he will need to overcome in order to be the leader he wants to be. And to do so, he knows it will require him to lean on an old friend that he, or rather his pride, would prefer he didn"t.

“Todoroki? Are you alright?” Kirishima asks, keeping his voice soft but not pushing. Todoroki has come a long way in opening up to them as their friend and learning to be part of a group of people who care about each other, further helped by the dorms, but he’s still usually more withdrawn than the rest of them. The choice to come sit downstairs while clearly ill was already a show of vulnerability, but it seems Todoroki is feeling worse than any of them realised.
Tired, heterochromatic eyes glance up, meeting his, and Kirishima smiles encouragingly. Then Todoroki speaks, a small quiet, “Not really, no.”
Or when Todoroki is ill, Kirishima is the best for comforting and cuddles.

Summary

Bakugo Katsuki died a hero.
Kirishima Eijirou saw it - he was there. And he was too late to do anything.
They said their prayers and left flowers by the grave, but something doesn"t add up when that grave turns out empty.
The fight is over but the war has yet to be won, but sometimes love isn"t enough to keep people near one another. A plot unfolds before all of their eyes as Eijirou and Katsuki struggle to stay afloat long enough to come back to each other.

He crosses the space between them, crowd sparser as everyone has moved closer to the riverbank to see the fireworks over the water, meanwhile the two of them stay further back. They both hate being closed in so tightly. Katsuki hates that he knows that about the rich fucking bastard that won’t get out of his fucking head no matter how hard he tries.
Well, the new year’s about to start and Katsuki thinks he’s done trying.
"Hey!" He shouts, and Todoroki stops counting down, turning his head to look at him. "Fuck you! Can I kiss you?"
Todoroki blinks.
The second he takes to respond, Katsuki goes through the five stages of grief concluding in considering the pros and cons climbing over the heads of the extras around them in order to jump into the icy water to escape.
"Okay."

"It"s my birthday. If I want a cake in the shape of a frog I"m going to have one. I don"t care how old I am."
Shinsou stood with his arms folded staring resolutely at the display case of cakes in front of them. Katsuki had suggested they go get one because it was Shinsou"s birthday and, well, everyone likes cake. Plus neither of them wanted to do anything too big - they shared the opinion that birthdays didn"t need huge parties to be special, but it was still nice to do something to mark the day. Therefore, Katsuki thought they could visit the bakery near his apartment, pick up some basic cake and have a cheat day with that and some some booze while they watched trashy reality TV and roasted the idiots on it.
What he hadn"t anticipated is that Shinsou, Mr. Emo Eyebags, would want the stupidest cutesy looking frog cake in the display case.

It"s Shinsou"s birthday and Bakugou is trying his best to be a good boyfriend and not push him in the trash for being his usual annoying self
