"Are you-" he starts, but before he can finish, a beast twice the size of the one that was on top of Anna suddenly lunges from the tree above them, crashing into Chris. A shriek escapes her as the lycan grips him by the neck in its jaws, ripping the rifle from his grasp to throw it into the snow.
"Captain!" Anna belts, her heart dropping straight into her stomach, and a cold terror consumes her as she watches Chris being taken away by the neck through the snow. She scrambles to her feet, throwing caution to the wind as she takes off after them, following the trail left behind.

Being the newest member of Hound Wolf Squad wasn't necessarily the easiest, especially with the fact that Anna is so much younger than everyone. Despite that being so, it doesn't stop the emergence of romantic feelings for Chris. She just hopes that she will be able to tell him before one of them dies at the hands of a werewolf in the middle of a Romanian forest.
