“What do you mean you’re married?!” Michael stammered. He stood up and grabbed Isobel’s hand.
Isobel rolled her eyes like she absolutely could not be bothered.
“Hardy har,” she said, jerking her hand away. “Must’ve been some night you had there, Michael Manes.”
Michael took a step back as his eyes caught glimpses of a room he was positive he had never been in before. He looked at the couch he woke up on and back at his sister’s nonchalant face.
