He was cold, broken, and alone. Or at least that's what people believed. Tony Stark wasn't as alone as people believed him to be. And he was going to prove that to the teammates that left, to the world, and to the entire universe. For his first family may have shattered a bit, but he was an engineer. He would pick up those stray pieces and meld them with the new. Build himself a new family, and make his old one stronger.
And he would also try to ignore those blueish gray eyes of a love once lost, but find out that it was hard to ignore. And that maybe he shouldn't.

Summary
James Potter didn't die on the night of October 31st. He, along with his one-year-old son Harry, survived the night. James is admitted into the hospital and is stuck in a magically induced coma until his injuries heal. His survival changes a lot, even fixing other peoples deaths.
A rewrite of my original story "If He Lived" where James survives and gives Harry the life he deserves. Original is still up, but I am not too proud of the writing it.

She dropped her bags and ran to him, much like what El had just done to her and she practically tackled Will in her own tight embrace. Arms wrapped around his neck causing her to stand on her toes just so she could hide her face in his shoulder. It didn’t even take a second for him to wrap his arms around her waist with the same amount of force, lifting her up slightly which cause her to laugh.
She could feel him desperately grasping at her as if making sure she was actually there. It made her eyes sting.
“You got taller.” She found herself saying, not yet letting him go.
Or, Max goes to California with Mike during their spring break and this changes some things.

Harry is in his thoughts a lot of the time not paying attention to his surroundings. He's hoping to have a calm year but that would be a lot to ask for. He is fourteen and should be thinking about other things than people trying to kill him, right? But he's not very good at thinking about other things.
Basically a slow burn Harry/Cedric. Harry is in a constant crisis as every bi is and needs a hug. And Cedric is a very kind gentle boy who deserves a lot of love.
