it was never enough, was it?
He winced, folding his hands in his lap, tugging down his sleeve to hide the ugly bruise. His wings twitched dejectedly behind him, the damp grass chilling the ratty feathers.
Dream did so much for him, and he couldn"t even do such a small task. "Keep your grades up," That"s all he had ever asked of him- and Tommy couldn"t even do that.
His hands wrenched into the grass, fingers itching for feathers.

So Tallulah and Richarlyson were here. They were here, and they were probably right through the door to her left. But despite how badly Phil wanted to run past the woman to grab his daughter, he knew that right now, that would end with a bullet to the back.

“They’re our kids! Why would we lie?” Etoiles asked.
“Because you took them into a fucking horde!”
or, while out scavenging for supplies, Tallulah and Richarlyson get separated from Phil, Cellbit, and Etoiles. This leads to an unexpected reunion.

Dream needs a better place to put his two new toys than just an island off in the middle of nowhere- after all one is an enderman hybrid and while he says he can"t teleport, its better to be sure about these kinds of things you know? And isn"t it handy he has this giant prison, almost completely finished... he just needs to make sure the builder can"t go blowing the whistle either...
updates will be sporadic, chapter titles will be entirely in Hozier lyrics. I do go back to make edits and changes as they occur to me.

The entire universe is spread out underneath his finger tips, hundreds upon hundreds of stars swirling in constellations he doesn"t know, a melting pot of dazzling colors, vivid pinks and deep blues, swatches of yellow and green.
If he squints, he can make out planets. Tiny little dots, hardly bigger than the nail on his pinky finger. That little grey one must be Lestea, the trade moon they just left, but the others? he has no idea.
One of them must be earth. How ironic is that he"s the first human to ever leave the Milky Way Galaxy, and all he wants to do is go back home?
(In other words; After rescuing Tommy, sbi and co. embark on a roadtrip through the Esempi Galaxy to return him to his home planet, Earth. They make a few pit stops, piss off some shopkeepers, make some strange friends, and learn how to be family along the way)
