Summary
Following the end of 3.03, as TK continue to blame himself, Nancy provides TK with some advice.
Carlos didn’t come home.
TK had convinced himself it would be like all those other times when one of them had told the other they were going to sleep on the sofa after an argument, and then 10 minutes later they slipped back into bed, neither able to truly sleep without the other.
He wiped the stray tear with the back of his hand, sniffling hard. He shouldn’t be crying, he was the one that caused all of this, he was the reason he was alone in their home.
The clattering echoed through the silent apartment: Carlos?
TK leapt from the bed, almost sliding across the floor as he yanked open the bedroom door and stepped into the living room.
TK froze in the doorway, his balled-up fingers rubbing his eyes, squinting against the light, “Wh-what are you doing here?” He asked.
Nancy was sitting on the sofa, the TV remote clenched in her hands, as her mouth opened, “Uhh after everyone left I thought I would stay and tidy up a bit,” She said, “And I thought maybe you might want some company after you woke up,” -

TK had to leave. An uneasy feeling began to swell in his stomach, he slipped off the bar stool, shoving his hands into his pocket already feeling them grow clammy. “Hey,” The bartender said, “It was nice meeting you…” He just looked at TK, his mouth open like he was about to say something else.
After a few embarrassing seconds, he realised he was waiting for TK to say his name. TK stuttered, shaking his head and holding his hand out to the man, “TK,” He said, “TK Strand,” The man reached out, returning the handshake. It felt weirdly formal like they knew each other too well to be shaking hands.
“Carlos Reyes,” He said. “It was nice to meet you TK,” He smiled as he grabbed a cloth from under the bar. -

Michael knows no one loves him. It’s just a fact of life, how no one wants him or people run away from him. He’s used to it by now, and it’s okay. He never expects them to stay.
But it’s always weird seeing Mrs. Evans again. Because he knows that there was a time when she was at least somewhat fond of him, back when they were younger and he would spend a lot of time at the Evans household. He doesn’t know what changed, never really understood how she one day could go from fond to reminding him strictly that he was to call her Mrs. Evans when before he was allowed to call her Ann. He’ll admit that it’s been wracking his mind for years, but only to himself, never to others. He doesn’t want people to think he cares, because then they would feel bad.
He hates that.
