Summary
After a tumultuous third year where everything Harry thought he knew about his life was upended and reforged, he spends much of his summer continuing his relentless training both in his magical prowess and his role as the Heir to both the House of Potter and the House of Black. When he returns to Hogwarts he has a few goals on his mind - continue to train, spend time with all his friends old and new, find out more about the House of Potter's mysterious history, establish a strong political support base for the House of Black among the younger generation in opposition to the House of Nott, keep Susan Bones from self-combusting as a result of her worsening guilt complex, and possibly figure out how to start courting the lovely Daphne Greengrass - who has begun to become quite endearing to Harry as he watches her 'Ice Queen' mask slowly fall.
Then Hogwarts hosts the Triwizard Tournament and the Potter Luck strikes again, drawing Harry as the fourth Champion out of what was supposed to be three - throwing all of his plans into a spiraling free-fall.
At least all of his friends believe that he didn't cheat his name in, right?

Summary
At two years old, Narcissa Black knows one thing and one thing only to be an incontrovertible truth - she loves her sisters and her cousins, and they love her. The rest of the House of Black loves her too of course (even if she's the only one of her generation to feel any sort of love from the older generation) but the bond she has with her siblings and cousins is special. One that could never, ever be broken.
As Narcissa grows older she can see that the Black children are all deeply unhappy in their own way and seem destined for nothing but grief and pain in their life - and then they all start disappearing, one by one, with the only trace being strange and mysterious notes appearing to Narcissa telling her that the Black children will all be safe. She believes it to be true - because the alternative is too grim to bear - until she's the only proper Black child remaining in the family. Has she been forgotten about, or will the guardian angel save her, too?

Summary

“Is there, uhm, a name you want me to use?” Susie interrupted.
Her breathing slowed down as she thought, and she looked back up at her, eyes wide.
“I like Simone,” she said, rubbing her eyes. “It’s french, but the english version of it is fine. She was a philosopher, and she said that a woman isn’t born, but is made over her lifetime. I feel like I have some catching up to do, since that’s the case. Figures I should be named after an existentialist after being named after a theologian for so long.”
“That’s… huh,” Susie mused, a smile on her face as she did. “That’s a very… Simone answer to that question.”
She pulled back her hoodie, this time for the last time today, she hoped. Her hair was so soft under her fingers.
“I wouldn’t worry too much about what you’re gonna look like, ‘cause you’re gonna be a very pretty girl when it’s all said and done. One must imagine Simone happy, you know? No matter how absurd her life gets.”
