“You’re super pretty. Like, angel-level pretty.” Gi-hun spoke in a slurry voice. “…wait, are you an angel?” Then he looked around the room, his gaze wandering from the medical equipment to the IVF drip attached to his hand and the tangle of wires surrounding him.
“…are you here to take me to heaven?”
“No, I’m not an angel.” In-ho couldn’t help it—he chuckled. “Gi-hun, don’t you remember me? I’m your husband.”
The revelation probably hit Gi-hun like an anvil. His eyes widened so dramatically that they looked like they might pop out of his head. “You’re my husband?” The cracker he’d been holding slipped out of his hand and landed on his chest. “Have we kissed yet?”
Or, the mandatory fic for the pairing where Gi-hun wakes up from surgery, high on the effect of anesthesia, and hits on his husband In-ho.
