Summary
Satoru’s life had always been defined by moments. Passages of time that slid by faster than he ever felt he had the time to process. Six eyes, all flooded with information at any given time, and the essentials - the moments that he held dearest - were almost blinks in the vastness of knowledge.
Those moments were what he played through in his mind, sleep addled and overstimulated, as he lay in his bed each night. The ceiling fan would spin and spin, an apt reflection of his mental state, and he would find himself lost in the past until the sunlight began to creep beneath his curtains.
