“Fool.” Yizhuo shot back, her defiance shining through even as she trembled inside.
The masked man’s smile faded into a more sinister expression. “You should learn when to keep your mouth shut,” he said coldly, gripping her arm tightly.
Just as he finished speaking, the bank’s glass ceiling shattered, glass raining down as Spider-woman swung into the building, landing gracefully in a crouch. Giselle’s eyes scanned the room, taking in the situation in an instant. Her gaze locked onto the leader, who still had Yizhuo in his grasp.
“Ning Yizhuo is here”, she said to Jimin through the suit’s comms. “Whoa, whoa, whoa—guys, didn’t anyone teach you that cutting in line is rude?” Spider-Woman quipped, straightening up and walking casually toward the robbers. “I mean, come on, I’m sure the fine folks here were just about to make their deposits, and now you’re making a mess of the place. Not cool.”
“Oh, great! Just what I needed right now, another clown...”, The raven-haired girl said rolling her eyes, wondering how the hell she ended up in this circus of a city.
The comment making the hero stop dead in her tracks, “Did you just call me a clown? You hurt my feelings, Miss."
