May I present to you: the dystopian au & stray kids/ateez cross-over everybody needed!
Chan and his 7 protectees are in desperate need of help. Chan is at his wits' end, and so he has no choice but to search for an old friend, an acquaintance that might be able to help him out in order to repay an old, nearly forgotten favour.
Little does he know that his old friend isn't on his own anymore.
The two groups come face to face with many challenges while getting to know each other, while their leaders seem to rekindle something that was left behind in their shared past.

Namgi breaking up after bts goes each their own ways, initiated by namjoon who wants to explore the world and fully learn who he is as a person, independent of yoongi. He wants to gather experience, because yoongi was his first love, first boyfriend, first time, first relationship at all. He wants to know what else the universe has in store for him, without the security net that is his ever-loving boyfriend.
Cue to joon being back in the country after travelling abroad on his journey to his true self. The boys gather together to hang out, they go eat somewhere, and the atmosphere between the two of them is close to frosty. They barely look at each other because it hurts to see how distant they grew, and they barely exchange any words except Joon making some snide comments about yoongi’s recent and recurring hook-ups with Jungkook.
Later that night, when they all go home after having had their fair share of soju, namjoon goes to his hotel room instead of yoongi’s apartment (which everybody thought would happen, nobody really noticed how awful the negative tension between the two actually was). Yoongi had silently hoped joon would come with him, but he also wasn’t surprised when he didn’t. Even if it hurt. A lot.
