Without making a sound, something fell from the ceiling behind Homura. The girl spun around as she noticed the shadow, the gears in her shield spinning rapidly. A hand grabbed her free wrist and Homura bit her tongue to keep from crying out. Her heart was pounding in her throat.
Time stopped around the two and Homura’s breath came quicker as the man continued to move with her. The man in front of her, with orange hair hidden under a hat and not too much taller than Homura herself, cursed out loud but did not let go of her wrist.
Panic choked her as Homura tried to free her hand.Homura tries to steal from Yokohamas port mafia. She manages to tie Mitakiharas fate to that of the gifted for the next few timelines.
No knowledge of PMMM is necessary - theoretically you don't need to know anything about BSD either; I would just recommend knowing at least one of the fandoms.

this fic is very character study driven, focusing on yosano throughout different points of her life! it explores her relationship with mori, with the agency, with her peers, with life, and most importantly, with herself.
in this AU, yosano was taken in by mori as a little girl, and raised in the port mafia. mori became the port mafia boss sooner, killing his predecessor when yosano is only eight years old. the great war and her involvement in it still occurs, and her backstory follows canon from that point on (including her solitary confinement, and being rescued by fukuzawa and ranpo). i’ll try and explain any other changes made as they become relevant!
