Summary
Rick abandoned Morty for two pea-brained birds. How is the 14-year-old supposed to cope? He chooses to go to the citadel and join the SEAL team to get his anger out on monsters and gromflomites. He's learned the lay of the land fairly well, but things get confusing when a mysterious, yet somehow familiar, Rick shows up and starts being nice to him.
He's seen countless Ricks not give a shit about whatever Morty they happen to use as a human shield for bullets and blades, so why is this Rick different?

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Shocker said, waving his arms around, "You telling me you got Spider-Man high?" He leaned back in his seat, nodding appreciatively, "Respect."
Spider-Man finally looked up, gaze roaming over the mass of faces that all promised some sort of pain. He looked back up at Wade, then at them, then at Wade. "Whut?" he slurred.
He squinted at them, lenses pinching tightly, and whispered loudly to Wade, enough for the crowd to hear, "I think I know these guys."
It was silent for a beat.

Summary
Peter Parker isn’t Spider-Man anymore. No, he left his suit and that life behind after Gwen, Harry and everything else went wrong. He packed his bag and took off, looking for someplace where he won’t see Gwen’s ghost on every corner, someplace where he won’t have nightmares every night.
Wade Wilson isn’t Deadpool anymore. No, he told a client to fuck off when he’d been sent to end someone who… didn’t deserve it So he left, packed his bag and headed for a place where the voices in his head don’t scream at him, where he can find some peace.
When Omega Peter ends up in Alpha Wade’s life, Wade tells him to keep his distance, not to ask about his scars, and to not bother him with his heat. Their arrangement works, each of them living with their own secrets, orbiting around each other but not to each other, until the Alpha starts staring a little too much, and the Omega starts needing some company.
Wade’s past catches up with him unexpectedly and Peter has to come to terms with the Deadpool side of his Alpha and it nearly tears them apart. But Peter still has a secret of his own. And he isn’t sure how Wade will react to that at all.*re-edited and divided into chapters for easier reading!*
