Summary
Skull was a little new to the whole getaway driver concept. Yeah he could do some pretty sick stunts with a motorcycle - but that's not what getaway drivers usually are known for. They're fast, good at finding shortcuts, it's kind of necessary that they can shake a tail, and, most vitally, they have to know how to blend into a crowd of cars at a moments notice.
Skull couldn't do most of those things, but he heard the intention pretty clearly when he proclaimed he was a stuntman and then was immediately shoved to getaway driver and nothing else - this is the only thing you can do, so you better do it well.
