Summary
Maybe Effie Trinket was ridiculous. She had a tendency for shrieking at ungodly hours in the morning, acting like a little girl, had trouble recognizing what counted as 'good' or 'bad'. Morality was an iffy term for any Capitol citizen. Maybe she might have been more than a bit of a stickler for good manners and berated Haymitch for his drinking more than she really needed to. She cried at random things and had quiet spells that Haymitch didn't understand.
Effie Trinket was crazy.
But there were moments when she made sense.
