Summary
Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan share a very happy, loving relationship. The only issue they have faced is that Song Lan is asexual and sex-repulsed, while Xiao Xingchen is decidedly not. They resolved this issue long ago, however, by formulating an agreement, which they adhere to very strictly.
The rules of the agreement are as follows: Xiao Xingchen can bring someone home to fulfil his needs once a week, on Monday nights, and Song Lan will be home too, for honesty and safety. The person Xiao Xingchen invites over is always a stranger and he can see them one time only. All activities are restricted to the spare bedroom. Once they finish, the guest must leave immediately and Xiao Xingchen return to Song Lan's side.
This agreement has worked for years, but lately Xiao Xingchen has found everyone he brings home is a bit disappointing... Until he invites over one Xue Yang, who rocks his world and at the same time shakes the foundations of his relationship with Song Lan...

Summary
After the Jin save him following his massacre of the Chang clan, Xue Yang is upset that Chang Ping escaped his revenge and furious that Xiao Xingchen is still sticking his nose in, trying to get Chang Ping to denounce him. He speculates about how to punish them - but Jin Guangyao forbids him, as the Jin's budding demonic cultivator, to go on any more vengeful rampages.
Instead, Jin Guangyao promises to deal with Chang Ping and Xiao Xingchen on Xue Yang's behalf - and so, before long, Xiao Xingchen finds himself thrown into a Jinlintai prison, accused of Chang Ping's murder...
