The doctor looks at Izuku, then back at the clipboard, then back at Izuku. He sighs.
“You’re pregnant.”
Izuku’s brain short-circuits. When it reboots, he laughs nervously. “I’m sorry, what?”
“I said you’re pregnant,” the doctor repeats. “Ten weeks along, in fact.”
Izuku just stares at the doctor. “I’m—no way, you’re joking. That’s not possible!”
The doctor sighs again, pushing his glasses up his nose. “I’m afraid I’m not joking at all, Mr. Midoriya.”
“But I’m—I’m a man!”
The doctor stares at him wearily. “Some men can get pregnant, sir.”
Izuku shakes his head quickly. “No I know that but—what I mean is—I have a penis!” he says. He gestures awkwardly to his crotch.
“And you’re also going to have a baby,” the doctor says drily. “Congratulations.”
