It was 1965 and by some ungodly turn of events (or more specifically, Crowley’s pestering) an angel and a demon were sitting, stoned out of their celestial minds, in Aziraphale’s bookshop.
“Thou shall not do drugs isn’t exactly one of the ten commandments, is it?” Crowley said, scanning Aziraphale’s face which was swept up in a heat of worry.
