When Mercedes is kept behind after class and Annette decides to do chores while she waits for her best friend instead of heading straight to lunch, the worst happens—one of their fellow classmates witnesses Annette at the peak of her hangriness.

Annette is excited to be going to Silver Steppes, a three-day music festival held every year in the middle of nowhere (aka the Tailtean Plains). One of her favourite bands is headlining and, best of all, she’ll be sharing a tent with Mercedes, giving them the opportunity to reconnect when Annette has felt them slowly drifting apart over the last six months.
Unfortunately, Mercedes’ absent-mindedness leaves Annette out in the cold.
Felix reluctantly takes her in.
