The kitchen is the heart of the home, they say, and for Diluc it has been a safe haven. A place where as a child he could hide from problems, fight imaginary foes, steal cookies as his loot. As he grew up, it was a place where he could be a child again - warm and safe and protected.

Summary
Albedo had never taken an interest in anyone in this way. Much to everyone's surprise, neither had Kaeya. And then they met. Two people who felt they never needed romantic love, but it found them.
1 - Kaeya meets another Knight of the order and is immediately lost.
2 - Kaeya's possible feelings are brought to Albedo's attention and he decides to test out the truth of the hypothesis, scientifically.
3 - Kaeya is in love. Then why does he look so sad? In which our dear captain finds a friend to confide in.
4 - Albedo cannot forget their day together at the beach, and it is getting in the way of his work. Sucrose is there to lend a friendly and philosophical ear to help him through his confusion.
5 - It's time to talk about feelings.
6 - Kaeya comes home feeling shaken by the news of Diluc's return and his unwillingness to see him and Albedo's form of offering comfort involves their first kiss
7 - Kaeya's most dreaded time of the year has arrived. His birthday. But since he must celebrate, why not do it at the Angel's Share, to make sure Diluc will attend, even if not as a guest.
8 - Albedo's anxiety chases away his sleep. Kaeya helps him find out what is hauting him. A promise is made. -
