Summary
Stede isn't entirely naïve; he knows that these sorts of books exist. He's heard about them, but he's never seen one before. Never held one in his hands. Never sought one out, even though he's often wanted to.
Stede steals books. Stede steals a book which is rather... unexpected. He enjoys it far more than he realised he would, until he finds his reading rudely interrupted by his co-captain. But no matter: he's always been very good at telling stories out loud, so long as he can force himself to ignore the heat prickling up his chest.

Summary
With everything that has happened over the last year, Jaskier is more than happy to be left alone. With the mountain, being tortured and being brought to Kaer Morhen, he's more than ready to resign himself to hiding in his room for the foreseeable duration of his stay. With any luck, maybe he'll be allowed to stay hidden while the others continue to bond. He can only hope that Geralt won't send him away again.
Little does he realise how wrong he is. When his heat starts, certain truths are revealed.
Maybe Geralt wants him to stay after all.

'Fear not, my boy. There are many pitfalls between negotiations and an actual wedding day. Perhaps there'll be no need for your jealousy.'
'My what? I am not jealous!'
Gaius merely smiled at him and returned to his stew. 'Of course not. Now eat your vegetables.'
When Uther's usual efforts to arrange a match for Arthur take a more serious turn, Merlin comes to a few realisations about his own feelings. He also learns that maybe he does not know Arthur as well as he once thought. Can he get to the bottom of the tangle of Arthur's emotions, and maybe sort his own out in the process?

Summary
Jaskier gets back to their shared room at the inn and finds he’s too tired to undo the intricate lacings of his clothes.
Geralt gives him a hand.
Just...so they don’t wrinkle. To keep Jaskier from complaining, of course!
Of course.
Turns out there’s quite a few things Jaskier isn’t too tired for.

Summary
“What do I smell like to you?”
Geralt looked up from where he was sharpening a blade to frown at the bard. “What?”
“You’re always sniffing around me,” Jaskier explained with a smile that covered the sheepish blush on his cheeks, “And I've read that Witchers have a keen sense of smell so tell me, what do I smell like to you?”
Home.
