a huff of frustration leaving her mouth, quickly replaced by a sharp gasp, gas pump falling from her hands and clanging to the ground when an unfamiliar voice rang out behind her, “You know, you shouldn’t be out here.. Especially at this time of night.”
The man was dressed up in layers of winter clothes with an orange beanie pulled down low over and goggles covering his eyes, so it was clear he knew how to stay warm in the harsh weather. A dark green hoodie covered up a majority of his being, but she could tell by his voice he was on the younger side. His breath steamed in front of his face, as he stood with his hands tucked into his pockets. “I mean, it would be smarter being in a nice warm car, with a full tank of gas, right?”

This is an ongoing work and I update every Saturday or Sunday! It was largely inspired by WizardGod's 'dirty old town.' However, I did have a similar concept prior to reading her work and would more accurately say it motivated me to finally write this. Her fic is brilliant and I highly recommend it if you haven't already read it!
