Hunter visits the place Belos died and everything goes wrong.
(or despite Darius' warnings, Hunter goes back to the ruins of the castle and loses himself in bad memories as soon as he sees whats left of the throneroom)

Shame pooled in the pit of his stomach as he thought back to what had happened. How he had laid across the throne, prostrating himself in submission. Nothing more than a scared child kneeling in front of his uncle, hoping for a moment of his time and a crumb of his affection. How could he tell Darius that? It made him sound like a dog going back to its master's grave.
But the guilt was too much, the shame too great to just keep as a secret at the back of his mind like he did with many other things. He had to confess.

Summary
Taking Hunter in has changed a lot of things in Darius' life and a change in his wardrobe was one of them. After all, he noticed that Hunter liked his hair ruffles even more when he wasn't wearing his gloves.

Summary
His whole life he's been told that he's a burden, that he should grin and bear when he's in pain and never show weakness. Hunter doesn't want to burden Darius with his aches so even when he could barely stand upright, he tries his best to hide it.
Darius has a thing or two to say about that.(or the possession worsens all of Hunter's chronic pains so he decides to hide it from Darius till things reach a boiling point)

“I do understand, it’s why I didn’t want to tell you. I…I like that you care but you get so worried and frantic when I don’t feel well. You lost sleep when I had issues with my scars…”
“And that’s a bad thing?”
“It’s not! Well…it is but not really,” Hunter said with frustration before letting out a deep sigh, “You deserve to live your life without any burdens. Burdens…like me.”

Summary
Darius tells Hunter that the food in the fridge is at his disposal and of course Hunter thinks he didn't mean all of it. Just what is spoiled and stale. He can't waste anything after all, he's already a burden enough.
(or Hunter gives himself food poisoning and him and Darius are due for a talk)

But Darius surely hadn’t meant that he could take and eat whatever he wanted like some selfish glutton. He hadn’t properly earned any of it, he was just being shown what he could have if he was good enough.
And that was something he wasn’t. Not while he stood in front of the fridge in the dead of night, gorging himself on food even if he only took what was stale and beginning to spoil. Nothing should go to waste after all.

It had sounded fun, a day at the lake with his friends. It had been fun, and Hunter had been responsible enough to leave the house with sunscreen on and carry the bottle in his bag, and then he had been stupid enough to forget reapplying it as the hours passed. Now he was suffering the consequences of his mistake.

Summary
"Enough," Darius snaps, and it's a sharp bark, promising pain. Hunter flinches back despite himself. The move stretches the skin at his side further, wound straining, but he swallows his hiss. He stands very, very still. To draw attention here, to broadcast his weakness, would not be wise.
Darius watches him, something cold and inscrutable flickering through narrowed eyes, his nostrils flaring slightly as he breathes in deep. "Enough, Little Prince," he says, and the words are more soft, and all the more dangerous for it.
.
Hunter fails a mission, faces severe punishment from the Emperor, and then runs into Darius, which (in his estimation) might be the worst part of his night.
