I just wanna help you.” Taehyung was careful in bringing the blade closer to the rope, not wanting to scare the boy even more. They free him and take him back to their coven, though Taehyung and the others soon will learn, that there is more to Jeongguk than the eye meets.

Wriothesley walks in before the Iudex is able to hide or come up with any sort of contingency plan – he just freezes on his desk, eyes wide on the approaching form of the curious Duke. The man briefly looks around – no doubt searching for him – before locking his gaze on the otter. “Hello there, my good sir,” he greets, hands on his knees to reach Neuvillette’s height, “Would you happen to know Monsieur Neuvillette's whereabouts?”
Oh, precious Duke; otters cannot speak human language.
Alternatively, as translated by his otterly ludicrous vocal chords: “Kyu.”
Neuvillette humbly wishes upon a star for a single day of peace. He gets taken in by Duke Wriothesley as an otter instead.

Summary
To solidify the Accords signed between humans, warlocks and dragonborns, Taehyung is set to marry the heir of the most prominent human dynasty: Jeon Jungkook. Everything would be fine for Taehyung if Jungkook was not: 1) human, 2) such a damn brat, and 3) hiding so many secrets.
