Summary
Wade looks up from where he's cleaning the cut on the other's arm as carefully as possible. "Yeah, I know it hurts. Sorry, buddy, I'm doing the best I can here."
He doesn't think about his brief moment of panic when Spidey's web had been cut and he'd tumbled to the ground; he doesn't think about how one of the robots had slashed at his friend mid-fall; doesn't think about how he froze when he saw Spider-Man twist away with blood splashing from his arm; doesn't think about how he'd then destroyed every last robot as he tried to reach Spidey, cutting them down again and again until there was only scrap metal left.
He just focuses on pushing aside the edges of Spider-Man's suit at the shoulder, making sure there's no gravel left clinging to the skin.
