“What flavor do you want?” Mafuyu asked.
“Oh, um… you choose. I’m fine with whatever.” Uenoyama rubbed the back of his neck and looked away.
“Okay!” Mafuyu approached the counter and asked for two slices of Black Forest cake to go. The cashier handed him a plastic bag not long after. Uenoyama pulled out his wallet to pay for his half, but Mafuyu shook his head.
