"John Hamish Watson." He says a bit sturdier. "You- this is one of your lamest jokes." He'd climb back up. He would, because he's John. He'd never leave him like this.
Yet he'd seen it with his own eyes. Moriarty had tried to drag him along down with him, but John- sweet, lovely, kind, and now dead John intercepted. He threw his body in front of Moriarty's hand and got dragged down to the rocky depths below. Sherlock can't bring himself to look for a body.

Summary
"So," Watson finally said, the casualness in his tone betrayed by the flickering glances he kept casting Sherlock’s way. "Are we going to talk about what happened today?"
How kind of Watson, to phrase it as a question. "No."
Watson sighed, but evidently refused to give up. "You had your hands around his neck, Sherlock. You were strangling him." He frowned, leaning down. As if by lessening the distance he could read Sherlock better, could peer into his soul and find whatever it was he was looking for. "Have you ever even hurt a person before?"
"Have you?" Sherlock shot back, already knowing.
