Summary
As he stands just inside the door of their shared dorm and sees the rest of the members shuffle into their shared space, kicking off shoes, shrugging off jackets, making their way to their rooms to drop off their things before getting something to eat and arguing about the order of their showers, he feels the loneliness set in. It tugs at his heartstrings, digs a hole through his left ventricle. He doesn’t ever want attention in this form, and maybe that’s why the craving he now has for it feels like a distant relative to greed.
The pressure behind his chest caves into a sinkhole and all Yeosang can do is stand frozen and watch as everyone leaves him by the entrance, completely unaware of the inner turmoil he’s currently undergoing. Yeosang thinks he finally understands it now, understands the oversensitivity to being left, and to nobody lingering by him and showering him in attention, he thinks he finally understands what he’s been so desperate for. Still, he doesn’t know how to articulate it, doesn’t know how to untie his shoes or hang up his jacket and ask for someone to hug him, just enough for the cold to defrost. He's still so exhausted.
