Summary
Dean never thought that he would have to live without Cas. After he came back the last time, he just assumed that they had all the time in the world. That they could live their own version of a happily ever after, whatever that means when you’re a hunter known for fighting apocalypses and an angel who can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Part of him is crushed and another part is so fucking angry with Cas for making the deal and for leaving him again. Deep down, he knows Cas did the right thing. Nothing was going to stop Billie from killing them both if she had the chance. But losing Cas again? This time forever? It is not something he is willing to accept. Little does he know; Cas and Jack are working on a project of their own, just for him.
Story begins right after 15x19 and continues through 15x20.

He puts out a mug for everyone else next to the percolator, including one for Jack, who is not allowed to drink coffee yet despite the fact that he’s living as a teenager, is technically the Antichrist, and was briefly God."
(After The End, Dean and Cas live a simple life in the bunker, full of food and family and early mornings. Just a little domestic study of Dean and Cas finally getting a comparatively normal life.)
