Plucked from just before trying to tame a Monstrous Nightmare he is not happy. Especially because of the whole technically being a traitor thing. Which they would likely find out, which is great.

"You'll be sorry for this. When my father-!"
"Oh, your father will come, alright. Along with those annoying little dragon riders of yours." Viggo grinned condescendingly, "I'll have plenty of time to do all I wish with you before that occurs, I assure you my dear."
In a flash, Viggo Grimborn was holding something strange in front of his face. It was one of the glass syringes from the table, filled most of the way up with an odd, purple liquid.
"You know, Hiccup dear," Viggo purred against his ear, "I hear you've already been introduced to this before." Viggo grinned, eyes dark. "You'd know it as... deathgripper venom, am I right about that?"

What a pathetic way to die. Killed by a fishbone with a knife. The dragon let his head fall to the ground. It's better than being eaten, he supposed. Then the unthinkable happened. The dragon's eyes flew open as he heard the swishing of a knife against rope. The ropes fell away, and he was free.
Basically HTTYD 1 from Toothless' perspective. Staring sassy Toothless and even sassier Hiccup.
