Cheryl was taken aback by this and it had only made her more tense, with the ache in her body continuing to crawl around her body. Why was it just static? She needed to hear someones presence. She continued to fiddle around with the radio but still ending up with the same result the only difference being was the faint clicks and her agitation growing. She kept on clicking it only to inevitably be met with the same result and her agitation transformed into anger.
''What is up with this thing?!''
She uttered out in frustration as she continued to play trifle with it, she looked up at the road with her left hand still trying to fix it and her right hand on the wheel- however both of her hands were about to be on the wheel as she saw a girl with a blue dress and black hair walk on the road.

Someone's gotta solve this shit, and you and Connor are the only available assets we got right now."Or: Just as things are finally starting to fall into normalcy, Connor's trauma is resurfacing. Especially when he and Hank are put on a pretty gruesome case.

Summary

He thought that he could save the little girl from the monster that kidnapped her, but after having lost her due to an untreated bite wound, Lee had to watch as the only reason for him to keep going slipped through his fingers. Surviving through a horrid world that took his life, his friends and his adopted family, Lee has to keep going, alongside what remains of his group and new people that he meets along the way, some friendly, others far less so.
However, the loss and tragedy he witnessed has scarred him, and finding it difficult to trust people once more, he must try to call on his friendships to help him at another chance to redeem himself, looking after a young teen girl by the name of Sarah after she was separated from her father. Both alone, damaged souls, caught in a runaway plot from a tyrannical leader of a community, he must battle both the demons of this destroyed world, along with his own demons inside. Will he be able to do it, or will he fall just like Clementine?

"Max?"
At first, Chloe isn't sure that the other girl heard her as she mumbled the other girl's name very quietly. However, when the girl turns around to face her with an irritated look on her face, Chloe can't help but feel like she's seeing a ghost. A ghost who has stolen her best friend's face and replaced the rest of her with someone entirely new.
Chloe can't help but wonder. Who the hell is this girl and what has she done with her best friend?
"I'm sorry. Do I know you?" The stranger asks, very clearly wanting to move on from the conversation.
Chloe is unable to stop herself from analyzing the rest of this girl's new appearance. Yup. That's very clearly Max. She decides. But what in the fucking hell happened to her?
