This time, it’s Shiu’s turn to laugh. It’s harsh and cold, but Toji knows better than to take it at face value when he says, “You’re delusional.”
It’s almost something like nice. Like breathing air for the first time in a while. Talking to someone that doesn’t see him as an experiment, or as an active threat. Like he’d ever admit it, though– fuck that. But Toji still manages to catch himself smiling privately as he rolls the gentle insult over and comes back with a simple, “Kong, I’ll be honest. I think I just wanna see the kid.”

Summary
In geomorphology, a knickpoint is part of a river or channel where there is a sharp change in channel slope, such as a waterfall or lake. Knickpoints reflect different marks on the river, often caused by the touch of a previous erosion.
Sorcerers came and went rarely, even more rare would they stop and pay him a visit. He presumes their plan would be, if viable, to destroy him once he's consumed all remaining fingers. Thus far, their plan has hinged on finding those fingers and ensuring they'd be prepared to kill Sukuna in his fully realized form.

Summary
It was, in the eyes of the Zen’in clan, the logical conclusion. They decided early on that a tactical approach was important and they would need to eliminate the threat with finesse. With grace, typical of their name.
Once the decision to marry the sorcerer Ryomen Sukuna into the Zen’in family was made, the process of selecting candidates was put into motion – and it was a quick one. The three youngest, all just old enough to marry and not yet old enough to have formed enough agency to separate themselves from the ordeal.
“Thank you for welcoming us into your home,” Megumi adds, polite as can be, inclining his head just a bit.
Sukuna's mouth twitches into an unreadable smile.
