Emily blinked, surprised by his willingness. She dragged her eyes up to his face, taking care to avoid looking lower. "I'm...yes, I won't lie, I do. But it's okay if you don't have answers. Or if you don't want to give them."
Reid nodded slowly, considering. He made no move for his bag and he held the stained shirt in front of his torso like a shield. "Ask," he said finally. "I might not answer, but you can ask."
