It started with a hospital visit. Everyone in 1-A (now 2-A) had been aware of Izuku's Quirkless status since day one, and although some of them were initially wary of someone of his status being in the heroics course, they grew to respect him as a comrade, friend and fellow hero-in-training. They were so used to seeing him as the strong, determined, stubborn and compassionate individual they all knew and loved that they never really thought about how other people outside of their family saw him.

Remember that scene in EP 20 when Xu Tailun cornered Tong Yao and she bit him to escape? Remember how pissed Lu Sicheng was that Tong Yao didn’t turn around and run, call the police, or shout for his help? Yeah, this fic is exactly that situation.
Maybe the conflict with Guo Guo didn’t have to be the reason why Xu Tailun got disqualified from the games.

This fic is entirely inspired by that tumblr tag discussing this situation. Like Sicheng will straight up commit murder had Tong Yao told him that Xu Tailun didn’t just corner her, he literally pinned her into the wall and she can’t escape because he’s using strength to keep her there.
