Summary
Hanahaki AU.
When Rukawa coughs his first petal, he’s a little surprised even if he immediately knows who it is for. Ten years on the same professional basketball team, so it’s not like they’re strangers, but they’re not friends either. Rukawa certainly hadn’t thought the squeezing in his chest from time to time warranted a lovesick disease to manifest.
The next day, he shows the petal to the apparent object of his affections, Mitsui Hisashi.

Summary
Mitsui never thought that he could live without basketball. Yet, he spent two years being a punk and making bad choices out of spite. Turns out, he doesn’t really love basketball, else he wouldn’t have dared to waste his time like that. He’s different from those who live and breathe it. Different from those who think of nothing but it.
He’s not like Rukawa.
Rukawa begs to differ.
(Starts off introspective, but really, it's just about two oblivious idiots. One is more oblivous than the other.)
