With Sirius free from Azkaban and taking up his role as Harry's guardian, Voldemort pursuing a political path to power rather than bloodshed, and a defense teacher that isn't actively trying to kill him for once, Harry has high hopes for his third year at Hogwarts. Centuries ago, wizards decided not to create the Statute of Secrecy. Instead of hiding from muggles, they used a ritual to create a dimension for all magical beings to live in. Every seven years, the most worthy students from each house have the great honour of being selected to compete in the Games: three deadly tasks, two months of training, one victor.
