Shikamaru had his elbows resting on the marble counter behind him, his legs crossed casually. For all the heart racing, he looked the image of stoic and unbothered. But he was, in fact, very, very bothered. Temari leaned on the counter, a few inches away from him, also ordering a whisky neat, but she probably didn’t notice him. He was an ant. Surely, giants didn’t notice creatures as small as him.
