“How did you sleep, baby?” Seonghwa asked, worry showing on his face, though Jongho was sure he didn’t know.
“I slept fine,” Jongho answered, fighting off the whiny tone he wanted to let out. He wanted to whine, and complain, and throw a fit. He was so exhausted at that very moment, trying his best to self regulate.
“That’s good,” Seonghwa hummed, staring at Jongho. Silently debating with himself in his head.
Without speaking Seonghwa slotted himself into Jongho’s personal space, and pressed his lips onto the youngest’s forehead.
“You don’t feel warm,” Seonghwa noted, after his sneaky way of checking Jongho’s temperature was over.
Jongho sighed, he didn’t feel sick. He felt small. He didn’t tell this to Seonghwa, there was no way to tell someone else how he was feeling. He let Seonghwa fuss over him silently as he sat there. Jongho’s mind sluggishly trying to explain to himself what was going on inside it. Trying to reason with himself on what was happening to him. It must be the exhaustion setting in.
