Luffy laughed and Nami cheered. All the Straw Hats in the room recognized the inspiration for this song - after all, Brook had only seen the whole crew engaged in one ferocious battle before their defeat at Sabaody. Even if the lyrics were talking about “king”, “kingdom”, and “dragon”, there was enough reference to the Straw Hats’ unique traits and abilities that it was clear the musician had written the ballad after Thriller Bark.
Unfortunately, just like in the actual Thriller Bark story, the song did not end after the villain was defeated.
