Summary
Trifling with Diction, Unflappable Alphas and Oblivious Betas and other lies Lan Wangji tells himself at the time of the Xuanwu Hunt.
This is a character piece, deep Lan Wangji 3rd person POV, as Lan Wangji walks to the Xuanwu cave. He is not having a good time, and Wei Wuxian is unintentionally making his life harder. This is set during the Qishan Wen Indoctrination, specifically during the trip to and the first night of the Xuanwu cave. It leans heavily on book canon, especially Volume 3 Chapter 11, Seven Seas Edition. I approached it as a missing scene.
To @neenswrites - I hope you enjoy this, and it fills some of the things you wanted! This was not what I was expecting to write, but it was what came to me with the mix of ideas of a canon ABO verse where Lan Wangji is obsessive and Wei Wuxian is a little oblivious about how Lan Wangji truly feels.

Summary
Sasuke doesn’t smell like anything, and he prefers it that way. Being a beta means he doesn"t need to buy scent patches or spend money on suppressants. He can be in full control of himself 100% of the time. He doesn"t need to endure any hormonal cycles. And, most importantly, he"s automatically removed from the drama surrounding alphas and omegas.
It"s easy. It"s the best.
