Summary
When he sees his name on the top, as it always is, it’s no surprise to anyone with the exception of one person: Yeonjun’s absolutely insufferable rival who goes by Choi Soobin. And said boy doesn’t look pleased as his eyes scan the top of the list until they land on his own name.
“Seems like someone’s second,” Yeonjun can’t help the defiance that leaves his lips. “again.”
Soobin doesn’t respond, too pissed to even care sparing a glance to the boy next to him.
“Being your rival isn’t even fun anymore! Lately it’s always me in front of you.”
Yeonjun knows he said the wrong thing when a smirk appears in the corner of Soobin’s lips and he looks at him, although not with the annoyance Yeonjun was prepared to meet. Instead, his eyes shine in perversity as a smug expression settles on his face. The student bends himself slightly, doesn’t need much anyway since Yeonjun is pretty tall himself, until his lips are close to his ear and the pinkette doesn’t even notice how hard he clenches his fists and his own breathing falters slightly.
“Yet it’s interesting how outside school rankings it’s you under me.”
