The Red Dawn was an organization of female operatives formed during WW2 by Stalin. After being violently disbanded after D-Day, the remaining soldiers, Lyrics, reformed with the mission of destroying the USSR, present day Russia.
767 is a Lyric in 2019, trying to survive the final stages of training. Until she ends up assigned to a squad with her vicious rival, gray-eyed sniper, 228. They’re paired with the comedian explosive expert 374, and are slowly dragged into a conspiracy regarding a dangerous underground organization working against the Dawn. With her team, and newfound friends, 767 and 228 desperately try to keep 374 sane while 767 tries to find a way to desert the Dawn as their new enemies close in. But there’s deception and deceit within their new squad, and with the Magistrate of the Dawn taking an interest in a progressively unstable 374 and 228 hiding more than her feelings for 767, she might not be able to get her squad out fast enough.Or- the first draft of a novel I’ve been trying to write for the last 2 years.
