“Too much,” Jihyo says. The laugh she lets out sounds more bitter than she intends. “Sometimes I think I owe my greatest feats to the fact that I just don’t want to go through living again.”
Mina only hums. “We’re the same, then,” she says after a moment.
Jihyo’s smile slants. She deliberately leans into Mina this time, intent on burying the yawning distance somehow still blossoming within the infinitesimal gap between their shoulders. “I could have told you that.”
