Summary
Nojiko used to be bullied.
It wasn’t a surprise or anything.
She was an orphan with a sister who looked nothing like her and an adoptive mom who smoked cigarettes, swore, and shaved her hair. Nojiko’s family was nothing anyone in Cocoyashi had ever seen. As such, the boys would throw rocks at her and Nami on their way to school and the girls would gossip by the corners of the schoolhouse. They would walk out of class at the end of the day with spitballs in their hair, fighting back tears.
Nojiko is twelve when her life falls apart.
Nami is ten when she gives hers away.
This is their story.

Emotions are high as Nami’s past returns to haunt her long after she thought she was free. The Fishman may have changed, but that doesn’t mean she trusts him, even if her crew seems to have accepted his changed behavior.

He opens his mouth to protest, to say get on with it as Shouto’s fingertips dance over his wrist, but he can’t bring himself to deny Shouto anyth– to put a stop to what’s clearly helping him. Shouto drags the back of his hand down the inside of Katsuki’s forearm, which is enough to make the hair on his arm stand on end alone, but then the deep cold of the ice hits him. Katsuki arches up, upper body leaving the bed, a live wire.
“Motherfucker,” Katsuki breaths out. Shouto hums into his neck and gives him a particularly nasty bite, right over the first one, before moving down to nose aside the neckline of Katsuki’s shirt. He’s glad to hear Shouto getting progressively more out of his own head, but he always forgets that his carefully controlled calm hides that fact that he’s a little shit in bed.
Todoroki comes to Bakugou after a difficult day, and Bakugou does his best to get him out of his head.
