You’re leaning up against a wall when you lock eyes with a tall blonde holding a glass of champagne. A familiar grin stretches across his face as you saunter toward him in the middle of the dance floor.
“Hello, Thoma,” you say, a similar grin stretching across your face. You take the drink out of his hands and place it on a nearby server’s tray. “Don’t you usually have housework to do?”
Thoma laughs. “Yes, but Lord Kamisato asked that I tag along with him tonight.”
“Lord Kamisato is here, huh? It would be crazy if we ran into him.”
Thoma flushes slightly, looking down at the floor. “I doubt we will see much of him.”
You pull Thoma closer to you, leaning into his ear. “The night is still young,” you whisper.
Before you can completely move away, Thoma grabs your wrist.
