Summary
Tommy was once a god.

Summary
William steps into the Winnebago. Vyncent glances at him from the corner of his eye. He may be alive, but right now the bags under his eyes make him look dead again. He’s got all his weapons on him, the bloodied axe in a holster at his hip, the shotgun over his shoulder with rounds of ammunition along the strap, his chainsaw hooked to his duffel bag.
The blade of the axe and chainsaw are both bloody. So is the butt of the shotgun.
Vyncent doesn’t remember who or what William even hit with the shotgun.
It may be only halfway through the day, but he is fucking exhausted.

Summary
Dakota really, really wishes William would wake up. He would know how to talk to Vyncent and he could explain why that’s fucked up and he’d know what to do but he still won’t move or breathe so - “Can you try your angel again?”
Dakota also really hates the look on Ashe’s face. It’s something sad and patient and terrified and exhausted and she’s still so pale and the front of her suit is covered in still-sticky blood and her hands are shaking hard enough to rattle the cover of her book and her voice is so tired when she speaks. “I mean, I really don’t think it will work.”
“Call Duck.” Dakota feels the rapid pump of his heart and he thinks it may be getting faster and faster and faster, until he swears that it’s going to beat straight out of his chest. “Maybe-maybe he got lost in the spirit world.”
