And yet. “Are you okay?” Bruce asks. His breath is minty and warm and it’s laughter as a glass crashes to the ground that reminds Clark that no matter how much he wants to he can’t kiss Bruce. He isn’t sure Bruce would want to kiss Clark - he’d even go so far as to doubt it.
Hidden by the wall and Clark’s suit jacket, Bruce’s hand strokes his back, a steady up and down and it takes everything in Clark to not melt into a mushy puddle. Bruce obscures him from the rest of the people present, and Clark flushes. Less so because they’re in public, more so because of how intensely Bruce is looking at him, eyes dark and vivid and Clark can rarely think when he’s seen eyes as blue as Bruce’s.
or; even under a yellow sun, Clark can feel pain and pleasure just differently. He and Bruce have some fun with the pleasure aspect.
