Summary
The thing is, Yusaku likes solving mysteries.
Perhaps, if he cared to examine that facet of himself, he would relate it back to the fact that his whole life is a mystery to be solved. His love of fixing problems and finding lost things, all a reflection of what he lost himself.
Yusaku doesn't care to think about it too deeply, however. He just knows that he likes mysteries. He likes puzzles. He likes having information.
Yuya Sakaki is one such puzzle that Yusaku would like to understand.

Summary
Yuya is a good liar, he's a performer by nature. Something about the observation must have startled him enough that he's struggling to put his mask back on.
Normally, Yusaku would just let the subject drop. There are a lot of things that Yuya doesn't like talking about and Yusaku has never felt comfortable in prying when Yuya is so understanding of his own secrets.
But Yuya has fangs and Yusaku desperately wants to know why.
Five times Yusaku realises Yuya isn't exactly human anymore, and the one time Yuya realises that maybe that's okay
