Summary
“I’m your lover from a past life,” said Geralt.
“Oh,” said Jaskier. “Okay. Well. I’ve heard a lot of pick up lines in my time but that, that’s a new one on me, actually.”
“It’s not a pick up line.”
“It’s not?” Jaskier sat dubiously back in his chair. “So. Are you – not trying to pick me up?”
Geralt looked askance. “I guess it’s a pick up line.”
Geralt and Yennefer live forever; Jaskier lives again, and again. It takes him a while to come around to the idea.

Summary
Geralt remembered a fight, years before, when his leg had been broken. The bone had broken in two places; his knee had shattered. The pain had lasted for days. That had been nine – ten years ago. The bard had been a child then. A tiny child, unable to walk, unable to think from pain. Because of him. It was hard to breathe. When he thought about it too much, it got hard to breathe.
Jaskier has always known he has a soulmate; a soulmate who is in pain a frankly concerning amount of the time. Geralt isn't sure if he believes that old superstition that witchers have no soulmates, but he knows he isn't bonded to anyone. He is alone, and he likes it that way.
Or, soulmates feel each other's pain and Jaskier is not having a good time.

Summary
"I know how soulmarks work. If a person has two names writ upon them by destiny, then one is to guide them to their true love and the other to their worst enemy. Everyone knows that." / "That’s an old wives’ tale."
When Jaskier was fourteen, two names appeared on his skin: 'Geralt' and 'Yennefer'.

Summary
Geralt, gaunt, damp as if he’d just come out of the rain, a touch of blood in his white hair the only spot of colour on him; Yennefer, dressed head to toe in black, with piercing eyes and with a wild, hungry look to her; and Jaskier, smiling at her so sweetly, looking almost ordinary but with blood soaking into his clothes and smeared across his hands and dripping horribly from the corner of his mouth.
They were, all three of them, quite unmistakably dead.
“I’ve been thinking,” said Ciri. “And I think you’re going to have to leave.”
Jaskier, Yennefer and Geralt had been haunting their house - and driving each other up the wall - when for the first time in decades they find themselves sharing with Livings. The new inhabitants include a little girl, Ciri, mourning the raw and recent loss of her parents - who after a sudden accident, might just be able to see the dead.
