They send their strongest commanders to fetch the items since there were so valuable, and while retrieving the treasures, they discover a failed seraphim with both blood from the two commanders
The beast pirates and big mom pirates had a heated argument on who was going take the child until they reached an agreement they would take turns each week to take care of the child until they came to the ripe age of 14 were they are to choose the side in which they will stay
As the two commanders take care of the child they start to appreciate one another's company, this turns into an unexpected friendship and evolves into something more complicated as it goes on. As they raise the child with familiar habits and quirks, many interesting twists and funny anecdotes come their way.
